We’ll replicate Governor Kefas success story to move Yorro LG forward – Council chairperson tells new appointees

The new appointed supervisory councilors and special advisers in Yorro Local Government Area of Taraba State have been charged to replicate the success story of Governor Agbu Kefas and his team in the state and impact the same to the people of Yorro.
Chairperson of the area, Hon. Mrs. Martina Anthony who gave the charge while swearing in new supervisory councilors, special advisory and chief of staff at the council’s secretariat in Pantisawa said era of Jamboree was over as the local government is determined to work hard and charge the old narrative.
Honorable Mrs. Anthony while congratulating them for the appointment noted that their choice was purely on merit as they embark on a new journey of service to the community.
She reminded them not to betray the collective trust bestowed upon them by the entire good people of the area.
“Today marks a significant moment in the history of Yorro Local government area, as we gather to witness the swearing in of our supervisory councilors, special advisers and chief of staff, I stand before you deeply honored and humbled to address this esteemed gathering. It is a privilege and a responsibility that we must carry with integrity, dedication and unwavering commitment. Your willingness to serve reflects your love for our community and their desire to contribute to its growth and prosperity will go a long way in entrusted quality representation as the voices and aspirations of our people, I therefore urge you to lead with compassion, fairness, transparency and mindful of the needs of those you serve,” she said.
The council boss who sued for peace, unity and collaboration of entire Yorro people observed that together and with hard work challenges will pave the way for opportunities abound and called on the new appointees to work hand in hand across party lines and differences for the greater good of all constituents.
She added that they took oaths of office to uphold the principles of good governance, accountability, equality and progress and should be guided that no one is left behind in the scheme of development and prosperity.
The only female council boss in the state while extending gratitude to Governor Kefas and the people of Yorro Local Government for their trust and confidence of working tirelessly to build a future where every individual can thrive and prosper.
