Woman alleges practices witchcraft with co-wife children

Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 23-year-old woman, Rachel Geoffrey for alleged practice of witchcraft by burning her co-wife children’s hands.
She was said to have burnt the hands of two children.

According to police, Rachael, residing at the Federal Housing Estate in Girei Local Government Area, inflicted serious injuries on Genesis Geoffrey 7 years and Ijadai Geoffrey, 3 years.
The children’s mother was said to have separated with her husband who is the victims father.
Racheal was alleged to have cooked rice and kept it for her husband then went out but the kids took and ate the food.
Upon return, Rachel then tied their hands with handkerchief to incapacitate them before setting fire to their hands, resulting to severe injuries.
The Commissioner of Police Adamawa State, CP Dankombo Morris, advised members of the public, particularly parents to live up to the expectation in providing for their wards.
