Yuletide: Police commissioner assures new FRSC boss of robust partnership in Enugu

The Commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Mr Mohammed Danmallam, has assured the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) of robust partnership to ensure a  secured state.
Danmallam gave the assurance on Friday while receiving Mr Ogbonnaya Kalu, the newly posted Sector Commander of the FRSC in the state who was on a courtesy visit to his office at the Police Headquarters in Enugu.
According to him, the relationship between FRSC and the police “is like two sides of a coin which cannot do without each other.’’
“This command is assuring you and your principal officers of our readiness to support FRSC activities and duties when the need arises to enable the FRSC to achieve its set goals and mandate,’’ he said.
Earlier, Kalu had commended the existing partnership between the police and the FRSC.
The FRSC boss further solicited for stronger synergy between the police and his organisation before, during and after the Yuletide.
“Sir, I will appeal to you to assist us and answer our call when we need your help during our Yuletide special operations,’’ he said. (NAN)
