The Chairman Zango Kataf Local Government Area in Kaduna State, Mr. Francis Sani Zimbo says he will continue to stand by the truth and be fair to all always irrespective of whose ox is gored.
He stated this shortly after he was decorated as a fellow of the Institute of Criminal Justice and Criminology Administration, held at the Local Government Secretariat on Zonkwa.
Mr. Sani who also received an award of excellence as the best performing and recognized Chairman Middle – Belt and most security conscious Leader, North – Western Nigeria, Human capacity builder, and rescuer of the less privileged by a group tagged “G4 Media International”, thanked the Legislative Council, management and staff of the Local Government for the support they have been according him to succeed.
While thanking the group for finding him worthy of the award, the chairman dedicated the award to the entire people of the local government area who gave him the mandate to lead them and pledged to stand by them and not to let them down.
He called for constructive criticisms where necessary for the overall growth and development of the area.
Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer, G4 media International, Mr. Emmanuel Stephen Ondaje said the group is a Pan Africa Media that breaches the gap between the poor and the rich, which collaborates with over twenty media organisations in the country to identify people and personalities especially elected representatives who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavours with the aim of rewarding and encouraging them to do more.
He explained that the choice of the Zango Kataf local government area as a beneficiary of the award was due to the significant impact in youth empowerment, job creation and unifying the Nigerian Youths, as well as the way he sacrificed for peace to return to the local government area, especially villages that suffered consistent attacks for over a year.
In a Goodwill message on behalf of the good friends of the local government, Mr. Yusuf Wayo described the award a s deserving considering the way and manner the chairman has continued to prudently steer the affairs of the local government.
He thanked the G4 Media International for awarding the Chairman even as he said will spur him to do more.
