15th AGM: Games Village Abuja new exco impressive within 100 days in office

Though just less than 100 days in office, the new Executive committee of the Games Village Residents’ Association Abuja (GVRAA) has been able to put many things in order within the short period.
President of the Association, Alhaji (Engineer) Bukola Musiliu Adisa, made the remark during the 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the GVRAA in Abuja on Saturday.
According to him, due process is being enshrined and made mandatory in all activities of the Association using the relevant and appropriate managerial tools and styles.
He also disclosed that financial discipline was being instituted to ensure best value for money.
The President pointed out that staff discipline is important in an environment like the Games Village in order to ensure great dedication to duty, efficiency and productivity.

Alhaji (Engineer) Adisa said the AGM offers the opportunity to felicitate, conduct performance appraisal, identify best approaches in consolidating successes and also eliminating weaknesses.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees, AGRAA, Alhaji Abdullahi Yahya in his remarks, said that in the opinion of majority of Games Village Residents, the new Executive of the Games Village Residents Association has so far moved the estate positively, progressively, and in the right direction.
Alhaji Yahya has stepped down as the BoT Chairman after five years of meritorious service to the Games Village Residents Association.
The 15th AGM was attended by a record number of residents.
There were goodwill messages from representatives of the Federal Capital Development Authority and the FCT Water Board.
