2 weeks COVID-19 lock down: Adamawa Governor Fintiri orders state’s emergency agency supports vulnerable

Adamawa Governor, Fintiri supports COVID-19 health campaign

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has directed the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA), to provide support to the vulnerable in the state during the two weeks lockdown.

This was contained in a statement by Muhammad B. Tukur, Senior Special Assistant, New Media to the Governor made available to Apex News Exclusive Tuesday.

The directive which is with immediate effect is part of the palliatives to the citizenry towards cushioning the effects of the lockdown on Adamawa as declared by government to checkmate the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

The Governor is appealing to people to bear with the government during this period as it is the only means of preventing the spread of Coronavirus pandemic, adding that the decision by government is in the best intrest of the state.
