A former Governor of Adamawa state Murtala Hamanyero Nyako says whoever is in Dogirei House should give a chance that All Progressives Congress (APC) has come to take over the mantle of leadership.
Nyako stated this while canvassing votes for Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani during a campaign rally in his home country, Mayo-Belwa local government area of Adamawa state.
He said after welcoming the crowd, revealed that, “we’ve agreed from our heart that Sen. Binani should come and represent us in the state because leadership and government she will do what it take to lead the state”.
Nyako also noted that, ” It was as a result of this, l took my 400 meters during my secondary days from Lagos to come to Yola and Mayo-Belwa to grace the occasion “.
Former Governor’s word, “now that we have come back, who ever that is holding brief us in power of government house should prepare to give a chance constitutionally to APC the house.
He said it s on this note that and by the grace of God our aim will be achieved and may He grant the glory adding that as you voting for Binani, he urge them to vote for their coming Senator, House of Reps, Assembly and others.
Speaking in Mayo-Belwa, the August visitor and the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress candidate, Sen. Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani thanked Murtala Nyako and the people who came out to honour her, told them that she came to received the blessing from Baba blessings of honour and success to lead the state.
She said, ” I am overwhelmed over the crowd I’m seeing, believing that God will give us rains of votes on the 25th of March 2023 by the grace of God.
According to her, I cannot come here without Baba Nyako if I should do so, where would my come or who would’ve blessed me because after God, Nyako in the politics of Adamawa state.
She used the medium and called on the people of Mayo-Belwa that if they want to vote and win, they should go and obtain their PVCs to be eligible to vote her during the general election.
In an welcome address, the former chairman of PDP and APC, Alh. Umaru Kugama said if this is the occasion that will bring former Gov Nyako to the state, they should collect their PVCs that will guarantee them to vote for candidates of their choices.
He assured them that what Binani is doing is doing it for Nyako so if you vote her you are voting for Nyako while commending their outing charged them to equally come out same during the election.
However, the ongoing rally is going without some exco of the party especially the chairman except for few with the publicity among others are in attendance.
Our correspondent reports that some of the of Mayo-Belwa in solidarity with Binani also dressed in women attire and were riding on motorcycles going out and back on high voice.
