Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has been elected the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 1271 votes in the kitty.
His election was announced Wednesday by the Chairman of the APC Special Convention Electoral Committee and Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Bagudu Atiku at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
He was later given the APC flag by President Muhammadu Buhari indicating the official candidate of the party.
Other candidates are Rotimi Amaechi, 316 votes, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, 235 votes, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, 152 votes, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, 47 votes and Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, 38 votes.
Others are Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, 37 votes, Ogbonnaya Onu and Emeka Nwajuiba, one vote each while Tein Jack-Rich, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Rocha Okorocha, Ikeobasi Nwokelu got zero votes.
