In its resolve to fight for the Gombe State gubernatorial seat in the 2023 General elections, the State chapter of the Action Alliance (AA) party in has elected Dr. Nuhu Milan Adeh as its gubernatorial candidate.
Dr. Nuhu Milan was elected during the party’s primaries held on Tuesday along with 24 other contestants into the 24 constituencies of the State House of Assembly.
The State party chairman, Auwal Ibrahim, said that the party is fully ready to participate in the forth coming general elections in 2023.
He said that all the candidates, beginning from the Governorship down to the State Assembly are gearing up for massive campaigns and they will be ready to confront candidates in any other party.
While congratulating all the winners of the primary election, the chairman urged the candidates not to betray the confidence reposed on them and to immediately move into the grassroots to commence mobilization of the electorates.
According to him, Action Alliance will be the party to beat in Gombe State during the elections because it understands the mood, feelings and sufferings of the people of Gombe State, as such, it is ready to address them and bring succour to the people.
In his post election remarks, Nuhu Milan thanked the members of the party for the trust and confidence reposted in him saying that he will not take it for granted but work in tandem with the focus of the party.
The gubernatorial candidate called on the members to immediately begin contacts ahead of the mega campaign rally that will be held to start door to door campaigns expressing confidence that the AA will spring a surprise during the general elections.
