Hon. Haruna Kabir Dan-Birnii, a Kaduna state House of Assembly aspirant for Doka/Gabasawa constituency for 2023 general election on the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)has pledged to develop the constituency if elected.
Speaking to journalists Saturday in Damaturu, Yobe State Capital, he disclosed that, if given the opportunity, would attract development projects that would transform the constituency to look like London.
According to him, ” he was in the race to contribute his quota to the development of the state as well as provide positive change to his constituency, adding that, he has the right expertise and credentials to represent the constituency.
He however urged the electorates to elect competent and credible persons who will bring positive change to the constituency.
Hon Haruna said his party NNPP has been repositioned in the state to dislodge the ruling party, alleging that the APC has failed in fulfilling their campaign promises in 2015 and 2019.
The hopeful lawmaker who hail from Doka/Gabasawa area stated that, if given the opportunity to serve, he will passionately represent the interest of the good people promising not to let them down.
He added that, “I want to contribute my quota to my constituency and the country, my focus is the empowerment of the youths, education and youth inclusiveness and participation in politics.”
He added that, ” People are tired of the empty promises of the APC and they have not delivered on their promises, the APC has failed on their promises, nothing you can talk about, people are suffering from ungle to another”.
Dan-Birni described his mission has “… to give a formidable representation for the good people of Doka/Gabasawa at the state assembly with a view to attracting developmental projects and promoting youth empowerment, reducing crime and guaranteeing adequate human and capital development in the constituency”.
