The Bola Ahmed Tinubu support group known as LOBITO Group 4 Asiwaju has been inaugurated in Bauchi with assurance that members of the group will engage in door – to – door campaign at the grassroots drum up support for the APC presidential candidate.
During the inauguration held on Wednesday at the Double 4 Event Center, members of the support group were drawn from all the 20 LGAs in the state as well as the political wards and polling units.
Coordinator of the Group, Idris Lanzai assured that at the end over 5000 Ambassadors will be recruited to work for victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.
He stressed that among all the presidential candidates presently, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the one to beat considering that in all ramifications, he is ahead of them saying that, “he has done a great deal for Nigeria and Nigerians, it is now time for him to be compensated”.
Idris Lanzai expressed optimism that APC will deliver Bauchi state votes to Bola Ahmed Tinubu because according to him, “Bauchi is APC state, go back and check, you will see that APC has never lost the presidential election in Bauchi state”.
He assured that the internal wranglings within the party that led to the loss of the 2019 gubernatorial seat in the state has been settled and the party is now one and ready to wrestle power from the PDP in the state.
The Coordinator assured that all the Ambassadors are registered voters who have valid PVCs saying, “We are collating their data to ensure that they are registered voters who will cast votes for Bola Tinubu during the elections”.
He then called on the Ambassadors to see themselves as the link between the members of the party in their respective LGAs and the leadership of the support group and should always keep abreast.
In his remarks, State Chairman of the APC in Bauchi State, Babayo Aliyu Misau commended the members of the support group for engaging in door to door sensitization and mobilization of members across the state.
He assured that the APC in the state will work with all of the support groups in order to ensure victory for all of the candidates of the party stressing that the joy of the party is to see that it won all the elective offices in the state.
Babayo Aliyu Misau who was represented by his Deputy stressed that members of the APC in the state should be educated on the electoral process so that they will not lose their votes during the general election.
Also speaking, one of the APC elders in the state, Engineer Habu Mamman explained that LOBITO is a close in Abuja where the political movement for President Muhammadu Buhari started many years ago before he eventually emerged President in 2015.
According to him, “The LOBITO movement is an offshoot of that former movement which will eventually lead to victory for Bola Tinubu in the 2023 General elections in sha Allah. The members are spread across the country and will work assiduously for his victory”.
He said that, “We don’t have fear because among the present crops of politicians in the country, it is only Bola Tinubu who has stooges all over, they are working for him because they want to pay him back for the good he has done for them in life”.
