2023: SDP a moving train nobody can stop, says National Chairman, Gabam at inauguration of new secretariat

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) opened a new chapter in its quest to win the 2023 general elections with the inauguration of its new national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam described the SDP as a moving train that cannot be stopped even with a bomb.
According to him, “We [SDP] are a moving train and we will get there. Nobody can stop us even a bomb.”
He thanked the party’s governorship candidates for believing in the SDP stressing that the party will support them to win in their various states as “defeat” is not part of them.

Alhaji Gabam appealed to all strata of the party to be focused and forget about any emotional and sentimental issue and always look at the positives.
The national chairman also spoke glowingly about the former national chairmen of the party, Chief Olu Falae and Professor Tunde Adeniran for their sacrifice to the party noting that the party will never forget them and will reward them accordingly in the future.
He said the SDP has the goodwill, energy and cannot be intimidated by anybody.
According to him, the inauguration of the new secretariat is historic and thanked the National Working Committee (NWC) for the steadfastness despite the little resources at their disposal.
Other speakers at the ceremony including the Father of the Day, Chief Olu Falae, former National Chairman, Professor Tunde Adeniran and the National Secretary, Dr. Olu Agunloye among others spoke vibrantly about the SDP and its bright fortunes in the 2023 general elections.
They pointed out that most of the parties in Nigeria don’t have any political philosophy for the people like the SDP.
Chief Falae noted that other political parties have lost direction and Nigerians gave them a blank cheque which they used to corruptly enriched themselves with the insecurity as the consequence among others.
He spoke when as a 14-year-old who travelled alone from Ondo to school in Lagos but was kidnapped for 4 days as a 77-year-old.
