The Taraba State governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 election, Hon. Danladi Baido has felicitated with the Muslim ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
He said may the blessings of the occasion bring peace, joy, and unity to the world, Nigeria, Taraba State and his Karim Lamido constituency.
Hon. Baido, in a statement through his Special Adviser on Media, Anthony Maliki, prayed that the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and gratitude that defines Eid el-Kabir guide all toward greater harmony and understanding.
According to him, the people remain steadfast in prayers for the development of the country.
Hon. Baido who is popularly known as “Ubangayya” in the political circles, urged the people to use the occasion to ensure peaceful coexistence for sustainable socio-economic development.
He expressed deep concern over the recent dastardly deadly attack on Munga Lelau in the Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State where over 30 people were killed with many houses and food stores worth several millions of naira destroyed.
He pleaded with the communities in the area to give peace a chance especially this rainy session for people to cultivate their land.
