The Nigerian Army (NA) Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) is conducting the annual Captain to Major Practical Promotion Examination (CMPPE) from 11-15 October 2021.
The Examination which is an outdoor activity, is aimed at evaluating the proficiency of officers in the field while developing their junior leadership capabilities for higher responsibilities in the Nigerian Army.
As such, there would be a noticeable increase of Army personnel and activities within Bauchi metropolis on Tuesday, 12 October 2021 when the officers would be put through a 13km fitness test which would commence from a location in town back to the Barracks.
All candidates would be fully kitted in combat dress with their personal weapons as contained in a statement by Major  Yahaya Nasir Kabara, Assistant Director Army Public Relations.
Liaison has been done with the NPF & FRSC for traffic control during the period of the test just as the public has been urged not to panic upon sighting of a body of troops moving within the metropolis particularly on Tuesday 12 October 2021 as it is purely an examination assessment exercise. Please accept the Commander’s esteemed regards.
