As the 3rd edition of the Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative’s Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Award comes up on Thursday 3rd October, 2024 at the prestigious Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, we seize the opportunity to request from distinguished stakeholders as well as corporate entities in the industry within the country and those in the diaspora to partner with us, and, or donate generously towards the NGO’s West Africa Automotive Institute.

The Nigeria Automotive Industry Award is established to recognize enterprise, encourage creativity and to reward excellence among key players in the motoring industry in Nigeria.

This was contained in a statement on Monday by Samuel Oloyede Oriowo,President, Automoblies and Road Safety Initiative.

The West Africa Automotive Institute is an Automotive Research and Competency Solutions’ Training Academy; established for the main purpose of initiating first, a nationwide and in the medium-term, a West Africa sub-regional force with the objective of providing training and skill development to the youths of our sub-region; objectively too; to empower all individuals through improved skills, knowledge and employment opportunities.

These days, millions of graduate Nigerian youths are roaming the streets searching for none-existence collar jobs. The West Africa Automotive Institute is determined with partnerships/collaboration/donations by stakeholders; to reduce the rate of unemployment of these youths by admitting many of them for Free Tuition Automotive Training Courses to mold them to skilled automotive experts and ‘auto-prenuers’.

In this regards, the Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative seeks for cash donations/ lecture halls & theaters/ administrative building/ mosque for the West Africa Automotive Institute which permanent campus is located at Ikeji-Ile Ijesa, Oriade Local Government Council in Osun State.

Each donor shall have his/ her donation properly named after him/ her in order to project a commendable legacy for such donors; and enormously too, during the upcoming 3rd Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Award presentation, intending donors will be celebrated admirably this his/ her life time; with the Nigeria Automotive Industry Inspirational Life-Time Achievement Award; as well as decorated with the insignia of the NGO’s Grand Patron/ Patroness.

Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative (ref: www.waai.com.ng/promoters) was established in the year 2013 with the consent of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and has actively engaged in series of automotive safety advocacies, workshops and seminars for stakeholders across the country.
