The 50 newly appointed secretaries to Development Area Councils in Adamawa State have collected their letters of appointment.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Monday approved the appointment of the secretaries and directed them to report to the office of the Head of Service on Tuesday April 21, 2020 to collect their appointment letters and documentation.
Governor Fintiri said the appointments are based on merit urging them to be loyal and dedicated to duty.
While congratulating them for the new appointment, he wants them to help chart a new course in grassroots administration.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
