Anambra State Police operatives attached to Nnewi Division have arrested a 58-year-old man, one Mr. Josephat Unachukwu from Edoji Uruagu in Nnewi North Local Government Area for allegedly having
unlawful carnal knowledge against the order of nature with a 20-year-old man to allegedly prepare for charm given to him by a native doctor for money ritual.
According to a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra Publice Command, SP Haruna Mohammed, the suspect admitted his offence and attributed it to money ritual.
The release states that the case was reported to the police when the
victim started exhibiting strange ailment.
According to the release, the suspect has equally made a voluntary confessional statement to the police and blamed his act on demons while the victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination.
It adds that the Commissioner of Police CP John Abang, has ordered for immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for discreet investigation in order to ascertain
