2023: I’ll construct Kafin Zaki Dam if elected – Bauchi APC guber candidate, Sadiq

The All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Air Marshal Sadiq Baba Abubakar (rtd) has promised to construct the Kafin Zaki Dam if elected as governor of the State.
Besides, he pledged to empower the youth and women through vocational skills acquisition programs to make them self-reliant and become employers of labour.

Sadeeq pledged in his continuation of a campaign rally at Kafin Madaki headquarters of Ganjuwa Local Government Area in Bauchi, Tuesday.
He noted that the Kafin Zaki Dam is one of the great assets for irrigation farming for the people of Kafin Madaki and if constructed it will create more job opportunities for the teaming youth as well as generate huge income revenue in the area and beyond.
The former airforce boss said his administration will prioritise and speed up the project if given the mandate by the people of the local government area.
Similarly, he will ensure justice and equity in the distribution of resources for all parts of the State respective of political, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.
He urged the electorates and mammoth supporters to vote for APC from top to bottom in all elective positions in the State.
Earlier, the APC chairman, Aliyu Babayo Misau , ably represented by Muhammad Hassan Tilde assured the gathering that Sadiq Baba Abubakar will not mismanage the resources of the State, adding that he would use the resources towards projects that have direct besmearing the common people in the State.
He said, the lingering problem of salary, pension and gratuity of civil servants would be over if he was elected as the governor of the State.
The rally saw the presentation of flags to the contestants in the central zone comprises of Darazo, Ningi, Ganjuwa, Warji, Dambam and Misau LGAs.
