PDP wins Bauchi Central senatorial, Ningi/Warji House of Reps seats, defeats APC, others

A former Deputy Senate Leader and a political associate of the PDP presidential candidate, Sen. Abdul Ahmad Ningi has been declared winner of the Bauchi Central Senatorial district in the just concluded national assembly elections.
While declaring the result in Darazo early Monday morning, the Retuning Officer, Prof Ibrahim Muhammad Danjuma stated that Sen. Abdul Ahmad Ningi of the PDP scored a total of 104,878 votes while Hon Uba Ahmad Nana of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) came second with 84,621 votes.
Prof Ibrahim Danjuma further, explained that Sen. Isah Hamma Misau of the NNPP polled 17,995.
He then declared that, having been satisfied with the results and fulfilling the requirement, Sen. Abdul Ahmad Ningi was declared winner and returned elected.
In the same vein, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party for Ningi/Warji federal Constituency, Hon Adamu Hashimu Ranga has emerged winner in the just concluded general election with 38, 563 votes.
Hon Adamu Hashimu Ranga defeated the current member representing Constituency, Hon Abdullahi Sa’ad Abdulkadir, who polled 36,424.
Announcing the result in Ningi INEC office the Retuning officer in the election said that having been satisfied with the result, Hon Adamu Hashimu Ranga of PDP was returned elected with 38,563 vote, while Hon Abdullahi Sa’ad Abdulkadir, scored 36,424 votes followed by Hon Musa Abbas Shehu of NNPP with 2,346 votes.
