Huge crowd that received Hon. Baido at Bineri

The Association of Traditional hunters in Taraba State has endorsed Hon. Danladi Baido of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has their preferred governorship candidate.
The Chairman of the Association, Musa Barde made this known at programme of members of the organization alongside that of Vigilante night at Bineri in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, Hon. Baido has sacrificed a lot for them, hence the need to endorse for Taraba State Government House.
Also, the Assistant Commander, Sarkin Yaki Babaji said the state government has totally neglected them and Hon. Baido was always supporting organization.
He said members have taken an oath of “Salala” to vote for Hon. Baido in the forthcoming March 18th governorship election.
In his speech at the occasion, Hon. Baido pledged to reform the organization into a recognized government entity like those found in other parts of the country if elected as governor of Taraba State.
He said then, government would provide them with the necessary equipment and placed them on salary.
The SDP candidate for Karim II Constituency for Taraba State House of Assembly, Tanko Bobbo said insecurity is the major challenge of the area and pledged it would be looked into if elected.
He said there won’t be need for the provision of amenities in the area if communities cannot enjoy them due to insecurity.
Members of Vigilante and traditional hunters from Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe and Bauchi states are attending the programme.
