Workers’ Day: House of Representatives, Member, Hon. Baido describes Nigeria workers as resilient

The Member representing Karim Lamido/Lau/Ardo-Kola Federal Constituency of Taraba State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Danladi Baido has described Nigeria workers as resilient despite the daunting challenges they face.

He said in spite of all odds especially with the harsh economic situation among others, the Nigeria worker has been able to pull through thick and thin with less complaint.

Hon. Baido made the remarks in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Anthony Maliki, in a solidarity message on the occasion of the 2023 Workers’ Day celebration on May 1.

According to him, the Nigeria worker should be appreciated by all the levels of government as well as the private sector noting that they are faithful in the course of their duty.

Hon. Baido who was the Taraba State Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in the March 18, 2023 election praised workers for making the wheel of progress work in Nigeria.

He urged governments at all levels to see to the needs and welfare of workers so that they can continue to be steadfast in their duties.

The lawmaker noted that if workers are given their rightful provisions as at when due, corruption will be reduced to the minimum within the civil service and other arms of the society.

Hon. Baido appealed to workers that even as they mark their day, they must not be discouraged but ensure diligence and forthrightness in performance of their duty at all times.

He wished them a happy and reflective 2023 Workers’ Day celebrations.
