Privately-owned higher institution unveiled in Southern Kaduna

A privately-owned new higher academic institution, ‘Royalty College of Education,’ Unguwan Musa in Kafanchan, has been unveiled.

Also unveiled is the presidential ambition of the owner of the new College, Mr Joel Olusayo Adegboyega, held during a 2nd Colloquium organized by him at the permanent site of the institution.

Speaking during the ceremony, Mr Adegboyega said unveiling of the academic institution and the presidential ambition were all future based, but that it is the foundation that was laid.

He said the idea may appear formless and empty, with no clarity now but that God willing, it will come to fusion as according to him, it was a gradual, systematic and sequential development.

Joel said the establishment of the Royalty College of Education was aimed at bridging the gap created in Teacher Education, counter the challenge created by insecurity and also introduce Information Communication Technology, ICT in his approach.

Concerning his presidential ambition, Mr Adegboyega said he has the call, the vocation and all it takes to lead.

In a keynote address, Reverend Jerry Okelade lamented the decline in moral values, national security, sense of nationhood, prevelence of weak political order as well as high level of corruption and the lack of impactfull leadership in the country.

The Cleric said as a solution to the myraid of challenges, Nigeria needs complete socioeconomic and political reform to place it on the right path.

A cross section of guests in their goodwill messages, prayed for the realization of the dreams of Mr Adegboyega.
