Lifidin Jama’a Foundation empowers women, less privileged in southern Kaduna

A Jema’a Local Government-based foundation in Kaduna State, ‘Lifidin Jama’a Charity Foundation’ has empowered over 300 less privileged persons in the area with funds and starter business packs.

The empowerment programme held on Saturday at the palace of the Emir of Jama’a, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu was on different areas of petty businesses and donation of motorcycles and cash to voluntary security organizations.

Speaking during the event, the Chairman of the Foundation and the Lifidin Jama’a, Alhaji Bashir Idris said the gesture was intended to step up the daily earnings of the beneficiaries to enable them live a more meaningful life.

Alhaji Idris said it was his own way of torching the lives of the less privileged in the society and appealed to well- to- do people to consider assisting others to earn a living.

Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion, Professor Sale Momale described the foundation as a humanitarian venture that aims at improving the lots of the people.

While praying God to bless the Foundation, Professor Momale challenged the beneficiaries to see to it that the gesture improves their living conditions.

In their separate speeches, Sheikh Muhammad Bawa Ibrahim and Mallam Baba Nuhu Tanko tasked the beneficiaries to make good use of the resources given to them so as to achieved the objective of the exercise.

In a remark, the Emir of Jama’a, Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu who showered royal blessings on the endeavour, said the Emirate supports the noble cause.

The beneficiaries, who cut across different religions and tribes from different parts of Jama’a Local Government Area in an interview, expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the heartwarming development.
