ACAT Chairman, Aliyu Hassan Hadejia

The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika and Alhaji Aliyu Hassan Hadejia have organised a victory Polo championship as a mark of congratulating Nigeria’s President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima.
Hadejia, Chairman of Arewa Consolidated Agenda for Tinubu/Shettima (ACAT) said in Abuja that the championship would be played at Rubicon Polo Resort near Nile University, opposite Noble Hall Academy in Abuja on Saturday and Sunday.
He said there are two trophies to be competed for. They are: The President and the National Assembly Cups.
According to him, “We hereby invite people to the tournament which will take place on the 20th and 21st of May as part of the Presidential inauguration activities.
“We have the pleasure to once again invite people to the final leg of this most auspicious and celebratory event sequel to the earlier one successfully hosted in November 2023 to usher in the incoming President Bola Tinubu and his Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima Mustapha,” Hadejia said.
The teams to compete at the two day championship are: Rubicon, Dogonyaro Farms, NSK Polo, Intex International Limited, Trobell, AFDIN, Malcomines and STL Polo clubs.
It could be recalled that a Polo Tournament was organized recently by ACAT at Rubicon Polo Resort, a private initiative of the Honorable Minister of Aviation during the campaign season that culminated in the victory of Tinubu/Shettima.
