Plateau Governor, Lalong commissions projects as President Buhari expected to inaugurate others Friday

Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has commissioned some projects executed by his administration. The Governor was in Riyom to commission the General Hospital and trauma centre.

Thereafter, he inaugurated the Riyom mini water treatment plant before proceeding to Vom to commission the revived Kuru Genery which was moribund for over 30 years.

This was contained in a statement to Apex News Exclusive by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor of Plateau State.

He was also at the Mineral House to commission the facility in Bukuru where he said he was happy that the business of mining was being made formal for the benefit of the State.

He also commissioned the Lalong Legacy primary school in Bukuru and named a hall after the Da Gwom Rwey Gyel who was elevated recently to 2nd class stool after 54 years as District Head.

Also commissioned are the NewMap erosion control in Chonongpong, and Standard Polo Roundabout, Rwang Pam Road network.

He then proceeded to the Dominos Pizza in Jos to commission the facility which he said was a prove that businesses have returned to Plateau.

He also commissioned the City Line printing machine in Nigeria Standard as well as the new NUJ Secretariat Complex in Jos which he said was his way of thanking the media for their support over the years.

On Friday, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to commission other projects such as the British-American Flyover and Dualisation to Lamingo Junction Roundabout.

Others are the New Diagnostic Centre at the Plateau Specialists Hospital Jos as well as the NCDC Command and Staff College, Jos.

Former Nigerian Head of State General Yakubu Gowon will also be part of the commissioning while the President Court of Appeal Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem will commission the new High Court Headquarters Complex, Jos and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre and Multi-Door Courthouse.
