Vice chancellor of Nasarawa state university keffi professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed said distinguished personalities that made significant contributions to human endeavors will be conferred with doctorate degrees
(honoris causa) of the university at its 7th convocation slated this weekend.
While addressing the media at the university’s campus, the VC pointed out that the chief of staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, His Excellency Professor Ibrahim Gambari deserved the award due to his tremendous role in Nigeria foreign affairs, having served as one of Nigeria’s longest serving ambassadors to the United nations.
Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed explained that convocation ceremony is a cardinal and statutory event which provides the university an opportunity to showcase it’s graduands and also to give account of how the institution has fared.
“I have the honor and pleasure to inform you that the 7th convocation ceremony of the Nasarawa State University Keffi, covering graduands of the 2020/2021academic session will hold on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th May 2023, the chief host is his Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State and the visitor to the university” he stated.
