7th Convocation: My experience at NSUK will challenge me to upgrade education in Sokoto State –Sokoto Governor Elect

Sokoto State Governor Elect, Dr Ahmed Aliyu has said having gone through a Postgraduate School in Nasarawa State University, Keffi, (NSUK)has broadened his understanding of tertiary education at the same time challenged him to replicate what is obtainable in Nasarawa Varsity in his state. The Sokoto Governor Elect who was two days away from his swearing-in as substantive governor of Sokoto State was awarded doctorate degree having gone through the rigorous study process in the University on Saturday, during the university convocation ceremony.

Speaking to journalists at the convocation arena where he was one of the graduands, Dr. Aliyu said the activities in NSUK has widened his perception and thought about a better and standard education. He said he is honoured and proud of having NSUK as alma-meter. He promised to be a worthy ambassador of the institution.
“I must appreciate the management, my lecturers, my supervisors for the support and guidance, without them I can’t achieve this. I congratulate the university for having me as the Governor Elect, all the way from Sokoto State, to become a product of this great institution.
“I assure the management, my lecturers and my supervisors, inshallah, I will be a good ambassador of this great institution” he said.
