Subsidy Removal: Bauchi Govt inaugurates 30 units of shuttle buses as palliative

As part of government’s efforts in ensuring effective transportation system across the state and beyond, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Abdulkadir has today commissioned about thirty units of Toyota Hiaces to ease transportation challenges being faced by citizens across the state.
At the inauguration ceremony in Bauchi, the governor applauded the Chairman of Yankari Express Alh. Abdulkadir Baba for conceptualizing the initiative describing him as a patriotic and result oriented person.

Bala Mohammed stated government commitment at ameliorating the plight of the people, saying that government will continue to ease transportation challenges occasioned by the removal of subsidy on petroleum so that goods and services i will be transported.
The Governor also disclosed that his administration would will continue to partner with other agencies to further strengthened transportation activities and enhance economy of the state.
He equally noted that good transportation network is the bedrock of all economic activities in any global society.
The Governor assured the management of the corporation of his administration’s readiness to support them by bringing more vehicles which will stimulate the economic activities.
Also Speaking the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commance and Industry Alh. Mohammed Zwall, commended the Governor for the gesture noting that electing Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for second term was a great gift from God to the entire citizens of the State.
The event has in attendance Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff, other government officials, members of the state assembly, Royal Fathers, Permanent Secretaries and other notable dignitaries from within and outside the State.
