Adamawa Governor, Fintiri names 2 women, 6 former commissioners in 23-member nominees

The Adamawa House of Assembly has received Governor Ahmadu Fintiri’s list of 23 commissioner nominees for consideration and confirmation.

The Speaker of the House Assembly Hon Bathiya Wesley read this while presiding over the plenary session in Yola.

He said, Fintiri appealed to the assembly to consider and confirm the nominees in order to form members of his cabinet.

He said the date for screening will be communicated. Those nominated include: Barr. Wali Yakubu from Madagali; Dr. John Dabari and Mary Augustina Vasumu from Michika; Usman Abdullahi from Mubi South; Tijjani Maksha from Maiha and Dr. Umar Garba Pella from Hong Local Government Area.

Others include Prof. Fintiwa Jatau from Gombi; Abdullahi Adamu Prambe from Song; Job Sama of Girei; Ibrahim Yayaji from Yola North; Bello Diram from Yola South; Chief Felix Tangwami; and Iliya James from Demsa.

Ibrahim Haruna from Shelleng; Kallamu Mohammed from Mayo Belwa; Adamu Atiku and Aloysius Babado gke Jada; Emmanuel Biridimso from Toungo; Mrs. Nedo Geoffrey from Numan; Titus Solomon from Lamurde; Anthony Birina from Guyuk; Mohammed Sadiq from Ganye and Ayuba Audu Tanko from Mubi North LGA.
