Faith-based NGO, Mishpael Fountain Ministry drills, donates hand pump borehole to Bauchi community

A faith-based NGO, Mishpael Fountain Ministry has drilled and donated a hand pump borehole to Gada Doka community in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the borehole on Monday, Mr. Bege Layas, a member of the Board of Trustee of the NGO said that the project was part of the humanitarian service of the NGO.
According to him, the project was conceived with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the community due to lack of good source of water for domestic usage considering the number of the people.
He expressed hope that even the coming generation will benefit from the borehole urging the community to ensure that the project was maintained regularly so that it will last.
Mr. Tinat Joseph, the Program Officer of Mishpael Fountain Ministry while handing over the borehole to the community advised them to guard it jealously so that it will serve the purpose for which it was done.
According to him, “With the completion and handing over of the project to the community, Mishpael Fountain Ministry is now out of here, it is left for you to ensure that it is well taken care of.”

Leader of the community appreciated the NGO for the project expressing happiness that the issue of good source of water has now become history in the community considering that it was a major problem for them.
He however requested for a school in the community lamenting that lack of school is denying their children access to educational pursuit and setting the community back.
The Resident Pastor of the community prayed for more projects for the community because according to him, they need such interventions from organizations.
Also, the women leader expressed her happiness with the project saying that it will go a long way in changing the narrative of the community positively.
Mishpael Fountain Ministry is a Christian base organization located in Kaduna with the vision is to be God’s hands and feet reaching out to broken members of the communities who cannot help themselves due to acute poverty, natural disaster, terrorism or militias attacks and discrimination or neglect from government.
The motivation is to equip, empower and encourage the helpless for the kingdom of God.
