Taraba Government warns residents along River Benue of eminent flooding

Residents along the River Benue in Taraba State have been warned on the potential and eminent flooding along the valley.

A statement by the state Commissioner of Information and Re-orientation, Barrister Zainab Usman Jalingo advised residents along the Benue river to relocate to safety areas.

The statement particularly said that those most vulnerable to the impending flooding are people residing along the river banks in Karim Lamido, Lau, Ardo Kola, Gassol, Wukari and Ibi Local Governments.

It implored all media organizations in the state to propagate the information far and wide to ensure that it reaches all the nooks and crannies of the State for the safety and well-being of the populace.
