The hall of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), headquarters in the centre of Abuja was well-decorated with navy blue and yellow colours providing a unique ambience.
The 12 tables in the hall were well positioned too with 10 seats each in the arrangement and yet guests were comfortably seated.
The stage was simple but elegant and brightly lit with a huge motif of Rotarian Engineer Shola Adeleke Ayanronke, invested as the 9th President of Rotary Club Asokoro Diamond taking virtually half of the background.
The past President of Club, Rotarian Adeleke Adedapo in valedictory speech, noted that the efforts made in community development in areas of health, education and sanitation.
He called for supports to enable Rotary Club achieve its projects and programmes to create hope for the people.

The chairperson of the occasion, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Betty Edu, represented by the Director, (Finance and Accounts), MDGs, Alhaji Hamis Sulieman said a meeting of all Rotary Club presidents in Abuja would be called to find a way forward of its activities.
Thereafter, Rotarian (Engineer) Shola Adeleke Ayanronke was installed as the 9th President of Rotary Club of Asokoro Diamond surrounded by many other past and present presidents witnessed by the District Governor D9125, Sagab Sani Ahmed among other dignitaries.

The investiture was laced with an award to 24 personalities. They include Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Betty Edu, Hon. Adewale Egbedun, Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adeoti Lawrence Olalekan, member representing Ife South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dr. Chinonyeren Welle, an Assistant Commissioner of Police and Chief Medical Director (CMD), Muhammadu Buhari Police Hospital, Abuja, and Engr. (Mrs) Aishatu Aliyu Umar, African Representative, World Council of Civil Engineers among others.
Brief profile of Rotarian (Engr.) Ayanronke
Rotarian (Engr.) Shola Adeleke Ayanronke was born on June, 1 1981 to the family of Chief Hon. M. A. Ayantove and Lite (Mrs) Victoria Adenike Avantove at Erin-lle but hailed from Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
She started Primary School education at Biodun Nursery and Primary School and completed it at Eleyooka in Oyun Local Government Kwara State.
She gained admission into the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in 2001 to study Civil Engineering and graduated with B. Tech Civil Engineering (Second Class honour) in 2007.
In 2019 she was admitted into University of Abuja for Master Degree course in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering and currently has her M. Eng in view.
A well-disciplined and hardworking lady started her pupilage in Engineering profession with the Ministry of Works & Transport, Bauchi State Government where she was deployed for the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and passed out in 2009.
She joined the Police and rose to the rank of Superintendent of Police. She is a registered Civil Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
She is also a member of other professional bodies such as Nigerian institution f Civil Engineers (NICE), Nigerian Association of Hydrological licencees (NAHS) and currently serving as the Publicity Secretary, Nigerian Institution of Water Engineers (NIWE), Abuja Chapter.
Rotarian Shola has many specialized courses within and outside the country on leadership and project management among which include but not limited to: Diploma Certificate in Leadership and Change Management from Mena College of Management in Dubai, (UAE), Master Class Workshop on Management and Leadership, Competencies for top Level Executives in London, United Kingdom.
Rotarian Shola is happily married to Rotarian Adeleke Stephen Adedapo and their union has been graciously blessed with four beautiful daughters: Princess, Angel, Gold and Fortune.
Her hobbies include reading, baking and cooking, an avid lover of charity works recognizing the fact that she could not have been where she is today but for the grace of God and goodwill of mankind.
She does not joke with serving her God and committing to things pertaining to His kingdom Rotarian Ayanronke is indeed naturally endowed, hard-working, beautiful inward and outward, charming, caring, humble, honest, versatile and sociable and she is inaugurated as the 9th President of Rotary Club of Abuja, Asokoro Diamond.
