Governor Soludo of Anambra State

Tension and fresh fear have gripped Anambra State markets following the non-release of an abducted Anambra State market leader, Mr. Francis Enibe two weeks after.
The chairman of Mgbuka – Amazu was a fortnight ago abducted after being beaten to stupor as he came out to open the market as directed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
He was said to have been abducted and dumped into a vehicle and driven to an unkwown destination by the armed men.
Unfortunately, two weeks later Mr.Enibe has not regained freedom, throwing his immediate family and market leaders in the state into panic.
The President -General of Anambra State umbrella body, Chief Humphrey Anuna, when contacted refused to talk on the matter.
But our source said other market leaders have been in palpable fear over their own safety.
The source said this singular kidnapping has cast slur on Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s desperate bid to cancel the Monday Sit-At-Home in the State being observed in protest against the continuous detention of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The Anambra State Police Command have also not said anything about the abduction.
Mgbuka Amazu is an old spare parts market situated outskirt of Onitsha, off Owerri Road.
Governor Soludo had some weeks ago directed market leaders in the State to open their markets on Mondays by observing prayer sessions and cleaning of the markets and drainages around the markets.
