The Board of Trustees of the Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative; a Non-Governmental Organisation established in year 2013 with the Consent of the Federal Road Safety Commission has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the new helmsmen of some agencies in the country.
They are the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Mr. Charles Odii, Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Mr. Ifeanyi Okeke and Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Mr. Afiz Oluwatoyin.
This was contained in a statement by President of the Group, Samuel Oloyede Oriowo to Apex News Exclusive on Friday.
The Board of Trustees of the NGO received with utmost enthusiasm these appointments considering the achievements of the new bosses at their various diverse past engagements.
The Board of Trustees of Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative is reasonably convinced that the new helmsmen have all what it takes to take their new engagements unto the next greater, enviable levels in a very short time to proof while contributing enormously to making the agenda of the President; as par the Renewed Hope realizable in the country.
The Board of Trustees knows that the tasks ahead of each of the managers of men and resources at their various Agencies of the Federal Government can be daunting, but we want to believe that with determination, you (managers) will definitely succeed.
The Board implores these new men to join hands together with the NGO’s officials to work together in reducing the rate of accidents in the country through its various programmes that include, but not limited to re-orientating the current mass of the Nigeria Auto Technicians and creating a new replacement of skillful generation of automotive repair/maintenance experts to drive Nigeria’s safe motoring.
We also implore all stakeholders in these agencies and those whose paths will cross theirs to contribute positively and genuinely to making their jobs easy and through these, make Nigeria great.
While we beseech sacredness to guide their daily affairs, the Board of Trustees wishes to use this medium to invite these noble men to its forthcoming 2nd Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Awards coming up at the Sheraton Hotel in Lagos on Monday 27th November, 2023.
