Gombe shifts 2023 investment summit to February 2024

Gombe State Government has announced the postponement of the much-anticipated Gombe State Investment Summit 2023, tagged ‘GoInvest 2.0’ earlier scheduled for November 16 and 17, this year. 

This development was conveyed by the Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Summit and Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, in a letter made available to newsmen on Wednesday. 

“The Steering Committee for the Gombe State Investment Summit 2023 (GoInvest 2.0) regrets to announce the postponement of the much-anticipated event which was originally scheduled for November 16 and 17, 2023”, the letter reads in parts. 

The Deputy Governor stated that, “We deeply regret the necessity of this announcement. We understand the significant investments of time and resources many of our valued participants and stakeholders have made in anticipation of this summit.”

He also stated that, “Please, know that this decision was made with great care and deliberation. Our unwavering commitment to the summit’s success and the overall quality of the event remains resolute.” 

The Committee further announced the rescheduled date of the event, which is to hold from Wednesday 7th to Thursday 8th February, 2024, expressing confidence that this rescheduled Summit will emerge as an even more powerful platform for achieving shared objectives.

The committee also extended the appreciation of Gombe State Government to sponsors and partners for their support and solidarity, assuring them of continued commitment to nurturing enduring partnerships that will propel economic growth, drive investments, and foster development in Gombe State.
