2023 Main pilgrimage to Rome, Greece: NCPC delegation inspects Holy sites, hotels in Athens

The delegation of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission and the States Pilgrimage Leaders on Friday, December 22, 2023 inspected some of the hotels in Athens, Greece preparatory for the forthcoming Main Pilgrimage exercise slated for early next year.
The Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam led the inspection team made up of state pilgrimage leaders and managers.

This was contained in a statement by Celestine Toruka Deputy Director, Head of Media and Public Relations to Apex News Exclusive.
On December 21, the team inspected holy sites in Corinth and Athens where Apostle Paul had his second Missionary journey.
The team were satisfied with the facilities at the hotels inspected and urged the management to maintain and improve on the standard.
The NCPC boss averred that the Commission would continue to ensure that the welfare of the Nigerian pilgrims is not compromised.


He explained that the Commission and the State Pilgrimage Leaders had resolved to make Rome and Greece the next pilgrimage destination for the 2023 Main Pilgrimage exercise which would come up early next year, hence the pre -visit tour of the holy sites and hotels in the two countries.
The NCPC delegation and the states Pilgrimage Leaders commenced a pre -visit tour of Holy sites and hotels in Rome and Greece on 16th through 23 December, 2023.
The team had earlier inspected holy sites and hotels in Rome before carrying out inspections in Athens.
At the end of the Pre- Visit tour in Greece , the NCPC boss enjoined the States Pilgrimage Leaders and Managers to go home and propagate the good news of Pilgrimage and ensure they commence the Pilgrimage process in their various states in good time.
