Jubilation as Malle won APC primary bye-election in Taraba

A former national assembly lawmaker Hon Aminu Ibrahim Malle has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary bye-election for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency of Taraba State amidst jubilations.

In a keenly contested bye-election, Hon Malle scored the highest number of 41 votes to defeat four other contestants.

Those who contested alongside him are, Hon Balyaminu Umar 29 votes, Mohammed Abdulmumini Hamza 26 votes, Ahmed Alkali 13 votes while  Kashimu Bello registered 0 votes respectively in that direction.

Declaring the result, Chairman for the committee, Lawal Samaila Abdullahi said Hon. Malle who scored the highest number of votes remain duly elected candidate for APC.

He remarked that in every contest only one person will emerge and therefore called on other contestants to embrace the winner hence the party remains a one united family.

Abdullahi who expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the primaries noted that delegates deserved commendation as the election witnessed free, fair and transparent exercise.

 Speaking to newsmen shortly after declared winner, the former lawmaker revealed that the party has come out with the best election ever in Taraba State where free, fair and transparent polls have prevailed.

According to him, this is a clear manifestation of the quality of leadership at the national Secretariat led by the national Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and his team.

Hon Malle who thanked God for peaceful conduct of the primaries devoid of rancor and acrimony expressed delight on the maturity of delegates at the poll.

The former lawmaker who sued for peace and understanding urged other aspirants to join hands with him to move the constituency forward.

He assured party faithful that his victory at the just concluded primaries is victory for all APC family and applauded national Committee delegates led by Lawal Samaila Abdullahi for standing by justice, equity and fairness.
