Alh. Umar Adam, father to wife of Governor Umar Namadi, Jigawa State Governor answered the glorious call of eternity.
In a statement made available to Apex News Exclusive by Hamisu Mohammed Gumel, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Jigawa State said the entire family is saddened by the lose.
Alhaji Umar Adam, who died on Tuesday evening after a protracted illness has since been buried according to Islamic rites on Wednesday in Kafin Hausa.
Deputy Governor, Engineer Aminu Usman, led the State Government officials to attend the burial on behalf of Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, who is currently out of the country on official assignment.
The statement concluded by praying to Allah to repose his soul and grant him eternal rest in Jannah.
