Katsina Governor Radda calls for stronger security measures to protect farmers during rainy season

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, demanded for increased security measures to facilitate unhindered farming activities during the rainy season.
Governor Radda made the remarks during a meeting with the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and assembly members.
This was contained in a statement by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Chief Press Secretary to Katsina State Governor.
He acknowledged the assembly’s concern about security challenges in the state and praised their proactive approach in tackling issues within their constituencies.
The Governor also commended the legislature’s work over the past year, including passing new laws, amending existing ones, and bringing important matters to the government’s attention.
In response, the Speaker, Rt Hon Nasir Yahya reiterated the assembly’s support for Governor Radda’s initiatives aimed at improving residents’ lives and addressing security concerns. He pledged the legislature’s continued solidarity with the Governor in combating insecurity and promoting development across Katsina State.
