One year anniversary: Taraba poly Rector describes Governor Kefas as beacon of hope

The acting Rector of Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, Dr. Amos Danlami Agbu has described one year of Governor Agbu Kefas in office as unprecedented and a beacon of hope for Tarabans.
Dr. Agbu who disclosed this in a interview with our correspondent in Jalingo shortly after the occasion of one year anniversary of Gov. Kefas whom he referred as “Peoples Governor” said Gov. Kefas intimidating track record of monumental achievements during the period under review was clear indication that the Gov. has prepared himself before the task of governance.
The Rector who noted with satisfaction the rapid growth of the state in the last one year pointed out that virtually all sectors in Taraba have received one attention to the other and attributed it to the clear vision and mission of the governor’s dream to change the narrative of the 33 year old state.
According to the rector, major achievements of Gov. Kefas at a glance which he said include education, health, agriculture, security and environmental sanitation.
He added that Women and Youth Empowerment, Traditional Institution, prompt payment of salaries/pension and ongoing gratuity of retired state workers were not left out, an indication that Taraba is heading towards the promised land under Gov. Kefas watch, he however enjoined all well-meaning Tarabans to continue to pray and support the Governor to accomplish the task of his vision in the state.
Dr. Danlami who assumed duty a fourth-night ago, has appealed to management and students of the polytechnic to support efforts of the state Government in its bid to take the institution to greater heights.
