Onitsha south landlords association re-elects executive committee unopposed

In a show of unity and confidence, the Onitsha South Landlords Association, Fegge Layout, Onitsha, Anambra State, has re-elected its incumbent executive committee members for another four-year tenure.

The seven-man committee, which has been leading the association, received a unanimous vote of confidence from the members, indicating their satisfaction with the leadership’s performance, during their general meeting held on Wednesday June 12, 2024, at Oraifite Town Hall Fegge, Onitsha South council area.

This decision demonstrates the association’s stability and cohesion, as they continue to work together for the betterment of their community.

The re-elected members of the landlord association are Prince Rex Wilson Anyaorah, Chairman, Mr Ndubuisi Umezurike, Vice Chairman, Mr Jacob Ajuluchukwu, Secretary, Mr Ekene Ikebundu, Financial Secretary.

Others re-elected, were Ifeanyi Ugorji as Treasurer, Mr. Philip Ozah, as the Public Relations Officer, while the only female member in the new executive is Mrs Nkiruka Ebom, re-elected as Welfare Officer.

The members of the association who spoke during the meeting where the seven man executive was re-elected, includes, Mr Adolphus Ibeneme, who raised the motion for unopposed of the executive.

Others who spoke during the meeting were Chief Sabastin Dike, Mr Anthony Ogaraku, Mr. Nzuvechukwu Chukwunyere and Pastor Samson, and they took time to recall the achievements of the re-elected executive and expressed confidence that they will perform more than what they did during their first tenure of office.

They prayed God to guide the re-elected members of the executive in conducting the affairs of the Landlord Association, saying that the confidence they reposed on them that made the members of the association to return them unopposed should not be taken for granted.

The members dismissed the existence of a parallel executive committee members of the association, stressing that they only recognize the incumbent executive committee members led by Prince Rex Wilson Anyaoha, warning that any attempt to bring crisis into the association will not be tolerated.

Prince Rex Wilson Anyaorah, who spoke on behalf of the re-elected executive promised they will do more than what they have done in the past that made the state government to know their existence and started giving them responsibilities, promising to carry everybody in the community along.
