Bauchi Governor appeals to federal government to extend Legacy Roads projects to Northeast for economic development

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, has described infrastructural development as very important and yardstick for driving economic growth and prosperity.

Governor Mohammed made the remarks when he received the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi in Bauchi on Thursday.

He said the Legacy Roads projects to the Northeast region will connect the area to the rest of the country and unlock its vast potential for development.

The Governor lauded the Minister’s timely response to abandoned road projects, urging for more support and synergy between the federal and state governments to accelerate economic growth and development.

The Minister of Works said the inspection tour was under the directives of President Tinubu aimed at assessing the damage and finding solutions to the perennial problem.
