Senator Lalong greets Professor Dakas, left, at a function
The Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District and former Governor of Plateau State Simon Bako Lalong has sent well wishes to legal luminary Prof. Dakas CJ Dakas, SAN, on his 57th birthday.
Lalong rejoices with his friend and classmate at the Nigerian Law School many years ago, on this very important occasion and uses to opportunity to also celebrate his achievements in the Legal profession in Nigeria.
According to Senator Lalong, the exploits of Prof Dakas in Nigeria and around the world in his chosen career and politics has made him not only recognised, but also celebrated because of his industry, intellect and contributions to the development of the society.
Lalong says the performance of Prof Dakas as one time Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Plateau State as well as several positions he held in the academia as well as his contributions as lead consultant to several high profile organisations are some of the testimonies of his excellent achievements.
While wishing him many more years of good health and God’s blessings, Lalong urges Prof. Dakas to remain humble, committed and exemplary as he mentors the younger generation not only in the legal profession, but in the society at large.
