APGA crisis: Zeribe hails dismissal of Ezeokenwa, Soludo factional chairman, celebrates Njoku on birthday

A chieftain of Edozie Njoku’s faction of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Zeribe Ezeanuna, has hailed the Appeal Court’s dismissal of appeal for stay of execution filed by factional national chairman of APGA, Mr.Sly Ezeokenwa, describing it as another land mark victory for the right leadership of APGA under Edozie Njoku.

Ezeokenwa, a legal practionner had gone to Appeal Court sitting in Abuja prayung the court to grant him stay of execution against the court judgment that compelled the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise Njoku as authentic National Chairman of APGA, but the court in its judgment dismissed his prayer.

Speaking on the judgement Ezeanuna, a veteran politician since the return of Democracy in 1999 said the judgement which came exactly on the birthday of Njoku was a birthday gift from God, adding that the series of judicial victories on the side of Njoku justifies the legality and authenticity of the process through which he emerged as the National Chairman of APGA.

Zeribe who is aspiring to become the chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area said: “The victory is a birthday gift to our able national Chairman, so it is double barrel celebration. As we are saying happy birthday, we are also saying happy victory from the Appeal court in Abuja. All the glory be to God”.

He called on Ezeokenwa to see the hand writing on the wall which clearly showed that the hand of God is on the side of Njoku for the National Chairmanship position of APGA.

He advised him to rather sheath his sword and join hands with Njoku to build and take APGA to greater height.

He lamented that the rank and of APGA were being misinformed, deceived and misled at the same time by Ezeokenwa’s anti party activities.

Zeribe also urged Governor Soludo for the sake of political expediency and the rule of law abandon Ezeokenwa whose mission was to collapse APGA and dent his administration.

He thanked God for Chief Njoku who has carved out a role as the political liberator of our people by restoring the hope of millions especially in the South East of Nigeria.
