In continuing his promise to touch critical areas relating to the lives of the people of his Constituency, Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Lalong has commenced construction of classrooms across the Senatorial zone.

The first set of construction commenced with work of putting up LEA classrooms in Tabat, Langtang North Local Government Area and another one in LU Shinkwan, Shendam Local Government Area.

This was contained in a statement by Dr. Makut Simon Macham, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Lalong.

He has directed the contractors to deliver quality jobs that will stand the test of time and provide maximum value to pupils and the communities.

The Senator assures all Local Government Areas that such school constructions will be done particularly in areas that are remote and have no schools or those whose structures are dilapidated and need reconstruction.

Only recently, the Senator flagged off rural solar electrification programme that is also poised to provide energy to villages within the six local Government Areas in the Senatorial District.

There are also health intervention projects that are underway.
