Governors Otu, Eno, senior clerics, others celebrate installation of Isong as Archbishop

Governors Bassey Otu of Cross River State and his Akwa Ibom counterpart, Umo Eno as well as arrays of other clerics and dignitaries, political elites, traditional leaders, and numerous guests witnessed and celebrated the coronation of Emmah Isong, founder of Christian Central Chapel International (City of Testimonies), as an Archbishop.
In his goodwill speech, Governor Otu, described Archbishop Isong as a true man of God and a blessing to the state.
He praised the host for his legacy in nurturing people in the ways of God and promoting good values, noting that: “God has used this man to bless Cross River State in numerous ways. You have guided our men and women toward God’s path. Your success story is a lesson for us all.”
Otu announced the reappointment of Archbishop Isong as Chairman of the Cross River State anti-tax agency, renewing his role from the previous administration.
On his part, Governor Eno lauded the Archbishop’s tireless commitment to the Church, underscoring the importance of patriotism in driving Nigeria’s advancement.
As a cleric himself, Pastor Eno stressed that cultivating a sense of national pride and responsibility is essential for the country’s progress.
Following his investiture, Dr. Isong, expressed gratitude to attendees.
He specifically acknowledged Governors Otu and Eno, as well as the delegation of Archbishops and Bishops who travelled from across the state and country to join in the celebration.

Archbishop Isong expressed heartfelt appreciation to his beloved wife, Bishop Helen Enyinma Emmah-Isong and other servants of God for their moral and spiritual support, which has significantly contributed to the prosperity of the City of Testimonies’ family.
He also commended the Local Organizing Committee members, including friends and well-wishers for their tireless commitment, diligence and steadfastness in ensuring the seamless execution of the historic 5-Star Celebration ceremony.
The Archbishopric investiture ceremony featured two notable side events: the unveiling of ‘Diamond from the Rough’, Archbishop Isong’s latest book, and a soulful musical performance by the Sound of Abundance Music Group, whose soul-stirring melodies filled the air.
The investiture was attended by several distinguished guests, including Hon. Akiba Ekpenyong, member representing Calabar Municipality/Odukpani Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, Prof. Anthony Enoh, Secretary to the Cross River State government, and his Akwa Ibom State counterpart, Prince Enebong Uwah.
Additionally, Rt. Hon. Daniel Asuquo, a former member of the House of Reps accompanied by his wife. Members of the Cross River State Executive Council, heads of government departments and agencies, and members of the legal profession were also in attendance. The ceremony drew numerous other esteemed guests.
Archbishop Isong used the occasion to celebrate his 60th birthday, 40 years of ministry and dedicated service to God, 35 years of marital bliss and 15 years as Bishop, collectively known as the 5-Star Celebration.
