Taraba Governor Kefas doles out N10m, Hilux Van to Bulus, two times Africa badminton champion

Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has donated N10 million with a utility Hilux Van to Ephraimu Jimkam Bulus, Africa’s two-time badminton champion to facilitate his efforts in nurturing young talents in the field of badminton across Taraba State.
The Governor announced the donation when the Champion presented his medals and trophies to him for blessing at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo, Taraba State.
Bulus, an indigene of Karim Local Government Area has made significant strides in badminton emerging as the Champion of the African Badminton Tournament in both 2010 and 2011 which led to his sponsorship by Governor Kefas to attend the World Badminton Federation course in Egypt.

Governor Kefas expressed his admiration on the achievements of the Champion noting that his inspiration, dedication and perseverance has made Taraba State proud and encouraged the youth to follow in Bulus’s footsteps by remaining focused and seizing opportunities for self-improvement.
The Governor highlighted the rich human and capital resources of Taraba State emphasizing that with proper nurturing, these assets could greatly benefit the communities.
Presenting the Medal and trophies in show of gratitude to Governor Kefas, Jimkam Bulus acknowledged the unwavering support and sponsorship of the Governor for the World Badminton Federation Course in Egypt and equally expressed his appreciation to former Governor of Taraba State Reverend Jolly Nyameh for his significant contributions to his successful career in Badminton.
The Badminton Champion expressed his readiness to visit all the Sixteen Local Government areas in the State to seek for young talents to mentor and help cultivate their potentials as future champions.
