Hundreds benefit from When In Need Foundation medical outreach

Pharmacists checking drugs at the medical outreach by the When In Need Foundation in Abuja Saturday.
Residents of Maitama area in Abuja Saturday came out in their hundreds to take part in the medical outreach by When In Need Foundation (WIN) where they benefitted from various medical examinations.
Dr Joseph Ogbansiegbe, who is the Medical Coordinator of the outreach, said 25 medical personnel including doctors, pharmacists and nurses were involved in the programme which is the end-of-year mission of the Foundation.
He said the foundation held outreaches in at Garki Police Barracks and at Katampe, in Abuja and was turn of Maitama neighbourhood.
The Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) and Founder of the foundation, Dr Chetachi Ecton, in a statement to the media said the outreach was in an effort towards giving back to the society to mark the end of 2018.
She said the foundation has assisted many individuals, groups, institutions and rural community in Nigeria with basic amenities, food supplies, agricultural development, healthcare, clean water, rehabilitation of schools, educational grants, scholarships and other youth and women empowerment programmes.
Registered in Nigeria and the United States of America, (USA), as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), WIN has continued to impact live globally through its outreach program, Mission of Mercy (MOM).
