Yobe APC Women Leader commends Buni for preparations for success of 5th Lake Chad Basin Governor’s Forum for Peace, Unity

Yobe South APC Zonal Women, Hajiya Fatima Mairiga Umar, has commended the Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni for success as the 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum.

The APC women leader made the commendation while speaking with Journalists in Damaturu, Yobe State.

She started that, the meeting will provide a leasing solution for peace and unity of the region.

She commended Governor Buni for his dedication to fostering regional cooperation, addressing shared challenges, and promoting sustainable development across the Lake Chad Basin.

Mairiga expressed confidence that the forum will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue and actionable strategies to tackle issues such as security, humanitarian concerns, and regional stability.

According to her, the Lake Chad region has so far achieved a great milestone towards achievement of its goal which is commendable as it has been touching thousands of lives and restores hope to the people.

She appreciate the efforts of the Governor towards ensuring development and restoration of peace in Yobe state, North East region.

Mairiga also appreciated Governor Buni who has provided all the necessary tools for the success of the projects.

She assured that, Governor Buni will continue to champion initiatives that bring progress and prosperity to Yobe State and the entire region.

She called on the people of the state to continue giving their maximum support and cooperation to Governor Buni’s administration for the interest of the state.
