The winner of Germany’s Miss 50plus competition, Evelyn Reissmann, sees herself as an ambassador for people over 50 years old.
“I’m seeing a change in society. A lot of women over 50 still feel attractive and are represented in advertising, for example,’’ said Reissmann.
Reissmann, 52, was awarded the title a month ago in the town of Bad Zwischenahn in Lower Saxony.
Reissmann works full time in the insurance and finance industry, but she is currently on the lookout for a modeling agency and could see herself gracing the catwalk or doing advertising work on the side.
She said that since being awarded the title, she has received lots of messages on Instagram from women asking her for beauty tips. (dpa/NAN)
